Police clearance certificate in Moldova

A police clearance certificate in Moldova is issued by the information technology service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The procedure for issuance of this document is subject to the attachment to the Order No. 353 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs dated November 18, 2016 ‘On Approval of the instruction on the procedure for issuance of documents about criminal proceedings and criminal offenses by the information technology service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’.

A police clearance certificate may be required as the case may be. For instance, if you are applying for a working visa, residence permit, citizenship or want to get married abroad. If a person is based in Moldova, it is possible for that person to independently apply to the information technology service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to prepare a certificate. But if a person is based abroad, our centre is ready to help you with preparation of a document. If a certificate is ordered by the citizen of Moldova to be used in Moldova, such certificate will be specifying only the identification number of a person and no surname, name and patronymic will be specified. If a certificate is ordered to be used outside Moldova, a certificate will be specifying information from the passport. A police clearance certificate in Moldova can be drawn up both in Russian and in the official language of the Republic of Moldova.
